PureB2B is seeking a General Manager for Digital Products. The right candidate is a digital product and marketing visionary, has a passion for innovation, and proven success transforming vision into results. This person will be focused on growth and able to turn obstacles into learning opportunities.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
Deliver and grow successful digital offerings that enhance PureB2B’s Demand Generation offerings in a way that builds customers and recurring revenues, while complementing our core value-add
Partner with executive and key stakeholders to define the vision, strategy and roadmap for digital products, and then take those products through a “venture pipeline” that ensures good success and ROI
Define and drive the go-to-market fo new digital products, including building business cases and requirements, and managing the lifecycle of test marketing, pilot launch, production readiness and so on
Set, monitor and manage to KPI’s that drive success, including SEO performance, sponsor renewals, opt-in and personal cookie tracking, and P&L
Collaborate with Agile product teams in the development of highly effective sites, channels and solutions
Manage team of digital and email professionals in the operation of those services that provide the value to digital customers
Manage Content teams in delivery of supporting content for PureB2B campaigns and web sites, as well as custom content for content out-sourcing opportunities
Prioritize features and functionality to keep product evolution aligned with business needs
Foster key relationships among sales, marketing, development, content and partners/providers
Keep up with latest industry trends and technologies, and drive new thinking and opportunities across the digital business
Experience managing digital products through a full product lifecycle from ideation to release, subscription and sponsor-supported web sites, vertical micro-sites, B2B content delivery and Email tracking
Experience in defining and managing electronic media businesses, including driving revenue growth through different digital models, such as corporate sponsorships, hybrid marketing programs, content licensing and data deals.
Experience working with product, development, content and UX teams in the delivery of a world-class digital presence
Expertise in developing digital subscriber/memberships, driving site value through content, using email as a campaign and opt-in vehicle
Demonstrated success managing an online product or service P&L to growth and profitability
Proven track record of building relationships across all levels of an organization
Superior communication skills
Ability to define and manage to KPI or other success metrics, including click-through rate, opt-in rate and content delivery
B2B marketing or pipeline experience is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s in digital media or related; MBA preferred
